"The Laundry Room (Death of Marat)," a 2009 installation by Richard Jackson made of acrylic paint, metal, wood, linoleum, aqua resin, plastic, fabric, computer and a washing machine. It's inspired by Jacques-Louis David's 1793 painting, "Death of Marat." On view at the Orange County Museum of Art, Feb. 17-May 5.
