The biggest surprises in baseball so far

The Dodgers.
Maybe the sticky ownership situation really was the thing holding the Dodgers back. Entering Tuesday's game they were 19-10. Last year they were 14-15 through 29 games. Matt Kemp is hitting .406 with 12 homers and 27 RBI, but the Dodgers have had great starting pitching as well. Their staff has the second-lowest ERA in the NL (2.94, behind only the Nats' 2.17). Chris Capuono, shown here against the Cubs on Saturday, has been a pleasant surprise, going 4-0 and 2.21.
