The round of 96 was relatively kind to O.C. surfers at the Honda 2008 U.S. Open of Surfing. Day 7 saw Tim Reyes, Brett Simpson, Patrick and Dane Gudauskas and Cory Lopez advance to the round of 48.
San Clemente's Tanner Gudauskas holds off a tough final field of surfers, including Australia's Julian Wilson, to win his first U.S. Open of Surfing junior division title.
